Piano Performer/Singer With a background in American theatre, Vic Janusz was offered a nightly 6-month run as a pianist in 1998 by the Seattle Sheraton Towers; He formed a trio and immediately booked venues from the historic Showbox Theatre to The Paramount lobby lounge. His many cabaret hits include the popular "Phoenicia & Vic" shows with Wade Madsen ("Pinkaboo!" enjoyed a month-long run at Seattle's ACT Theatre in 2008). Vic has accompanied and sung alongside singers as diverse as jazz great Greta Matassa, Sarah Rudinoff, and "El Vez", among others. Victor was selected from a nationwide audition to attend the 6th Annual Cabaret Conference at Yale University in August 2008; He studied and performed for 10 days with masters of the artform, including Julie Wilson, Jason Graae, VICTOR JANUSZ Recordings inlcude the instrumental "Hands Solo" (2002) and "Cosmo Street" (2005) spotlighting Vic as singer/songwriter with his band (See CD listings)

Actor/Director Artistic Director of Seattle's TRIAD Ensemble (1987-94) a small Equity Theatre Co, has produced and/or directed nearly forty productions. World Premieres: Bruce Mason, Cait Sullivan, Avram Katzman, John Kauffman, Tamara Paris, among others. Highlights of Janusz' acclaimed Directing Career: The American Premiere of the London hit Heart-Throb (by Hutchison/Seabrook), Brecht's Visions of Simone Machard, and the Northwest Premiere of Harry Kondoleon's Christmas On Mars. An actor with Off-Broadway credits, including stints at LaMama and Playwrights Horizons, he studied with Barbara Coggin, Uta Hagen and Herbert Berghof and at the famed Actors Studio (1979-85). Janusz relocated to Seattle in 1986 to appear in the West Coast Premiere of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart. |

In 1994, was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities grant for his adaptation of an Ibsen classic; Hedda Gabler '55 also filmed for inclusion in the National Theatre archive at Lincoln Center.
